Emerging Church... or Strange Fire?
Strange fire can hurt you!
The great evangelical meltdown is in progress. Mystery Babylon continues to be built by Rome. Many Evangelicals, joining hands and ranks with Roman Catholics, are running arm in arm and trampling truth under foot.
Along with the deceptive Roman Romancing of Christendom are the Word Faith Movement, Third Wave charismania, the global Purpose Driven craze, the New Apostolic Reformation, and the Emerging Church movement - which is bordering on cultism in its use of Diaprax (consensus). Sadly, none of these so called 'moves of God' are grounded in solid Bible teaching. Furthermore, many of the leaders in these movements have been called to account yet none of them are clearly repenting from the false teachings they have been promoting.
Regarding the Emerging Church, countless Christians are being subtely waltzed back to pagan mysticism. In the name of 'deeper spirituality' and the Eastern Pan-en-theistic worldview, that God is IN EVERYTHING, multitudes are being led into pure deception by the Emerging Church leaders. Repackaged as 'Christian disciplines' and 'alternative worship', contemplative spirituality [which has its very roots in Hinduism, Buddhism and Taoism] is taking protestantism straightforward into mysticism.
Even now the so-called new spirituality of the Emerging Church is ushering the undiscerning straight back to Rome. The Roman Catholic Church has had much more time and practice at mixing paganism with the Bible. This is the emergent river where sheep are feeding.
God forbid that Christians should offer strange fire like this before the LORD. Remember Nadab and Abihu? They offered profane fire before the LORD and they paid a heavy price...their very own lives!
"And Nadab and Abihu, the sons of Aaron, took either of them his censer, and put fire therein, and put incense thereon, and offered strange fire before the LORD, which he commanded them not. And there went out fire from the LORD, and devoured them, and they died before the LORD. Then Moses said unto Aaron, This [is it] that the LORD spake, saying, I will be sanctified in them that come nigh me, and before all the people I will be glorified."
(Leviticus 10:1)
Stay tuned for much, much more coming to this blog. We will be posting a giant archive of discernment articles in order to back up the statements just made above.
